Thriller

Yesterday at school we had a TAKS pep rally for our kids and we did the dance to Thriller. We had lots of fun and the kids really loved it. Don't we look lovely??

5 wonderful years!

Yes, today is our 5th Anniversary! Can you believe it? It seems like just yesterday I was getting ready to walk down the aisle and marry my best friend. I love him more today than the day I married him and I can't wait to celebrate many more years together! He is an excellent husband, wonderful daddy and a great provider for our family. We couldn't be more blessed! I can't wait to see what else God has in store for our lives together!

I know I haven't posted anything since this fall and I apologize. Life is crazy. Soon, I will upload pictures from Christmas and some new ones we did for Valentine's Day.

My Great-Grandma

The definition of PRECIOUS - a dearly beloved person; darling; highly esteemed for some spiritual, nonmaterial, or moral quality.

This is the definition of my Great-Grandmommy.


This song describes my Great-Grandmommy so much. Not only because she had 8 kids, but because she has prayed for each member of our family by name since the day we were born. She is the most dedicated "Prayer Warrior". She actually had a list with each family members name starting with her oldest child going down to the youngest great-great-grandchild. I am so blessed to have all of those faithful prayers. I can only pray that I can be such a Godly role model for my children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. We are so blessed that we have had her for 93 years and five generations.

This song not only describes my Great-Grandmommy, but also my Great-Grandaddy. They were both such faithful servants for their Lord. We are so blessed to have such an awesome legacy and foundation for our family. I know that when she finally goes to meet her Lord that this is exactly what will be happening.

First Fishing Trip

A couple of weekends ago mom and dad booked a condo in Rockport and we took the boys fishing. This was both of their first fishing trips and Bry caught his first fish! We had lots of fun and it was the last warm weekend that we had, perfect timing! Here are a couple of pics from the weekend!

Bryant is ALL boy!

David took Bryant fishing at Deussan Park this morning. He went and got some live worms for them to fish with and apparently Bryant and one of the worms became "friends". David said that Bryant would not put down the worm. Apparently they didn't fish too long because Bryant saw a boat and was crying to get on the boat. David told me that the people putting in the boat were an older couple and they invited to take them for a ride, luckily my husband has a brain and declined. If not, they would've ended up on the 6 o'clock news. I'm just saying that you can't trust people these days. Anyway, David got him to calm down by letting him go play on the playground. He said he held the worm the whole time. Then, a mom and her daughter came to play too (the little girl was around 4 or 5) and David said that Bryant walked up to the little girl..here is their conversation:

Bryant: Hi, my name is Bryant. Do you like my worm?

Little Girl: No, that is gross

Bryant: But, he is my friend. Want me play with you?

Little Girl: Not with your worm it's yucky.

Bryant looks at the little girls mom and says: You hold my worm?

She did and David was mortified.

Needless to say, my son is all boy. He loves worms, but will give it away to play with a cute little girl.

David threw the worm away once he apologized to the mom and took it away from her. He said in the car Bryant cried for his friend the worm, so David gave him another one from the bucket. Bryant tore it in half and said "This isn't the same worm".

Oh, what a character. I guess I am really going to have to start checking his pockets for creepy crawly creatures...YUCK!
