A couple of weekends ago mom and dad booked a condo in Rockport and we took the boys fishing. This was both of their first fishing trips and Bry caught his first fish! We had lots of fun and it was the last warm weekend that we had, perfect timing! Here are a couple of pics from the weekend!
David took Bryant fishing at Deussan Park this morning. He went and got some live worms for them to fish with and apparently Bryant and one of the worms became "friends". David said that Bryant would not put down the worm. Apparently they didn't fish too long because Bryant saw a boat and was crying to get on the boat. David told me that the people putting in the boat were an older couple and they invited to take them for a ride, luckily my husband has a brain and declined. If not, they would've ended up on the 6 o'clock news. I'm just saying that you can't trust people these days. Anyway, David got him to calm down by letting him go play on the playground. He said he held the worm the whole time. Then, a mom and her daughter came to play too (the little girl was around 4 or 5) and David said that Bryant walked up to the little girl..here is their conversation:
Bryant: Hi, my name is Bryant. Do you like my worm?
Little Girl: No, that is gross
Bryant: But, he is my friend. Want me play with you?
Little Girl: Not with your worm it's yucky.
Bryant looks at the little girls mom and says: You hold my worm?
She did and David was mortified.
Needless to say, my son is all boy. He loves worms, but will give it away to play with a cute little girl.
David threw the worm away once he apologized to the mom and took it away from her. He said in the car Bryant cried for his friend the worm, so David gave him another one from the bucket. Bryant tore it in half and said "This isn't the same worm".
Oh, what a character. I guess I am really going to have to start checking his pockets for creepy crawly creatures...YUCK!

So, I think in honor of NaBloPoMo: National Blog Posting Month, I am going to try and make a post every day for the month of November. We will see how it goes and I apologize in advance for the upcoming ramblings.
There will be an update soon (hopefully tomorrow) with pictures of the boys in there very cute costumes, but right now I am going to tell you about my funny "big boy" Bryant.
On Saturday night, after going to 2 Fall festivals, Bryant and I sat outside and handed out candy. **side note** David asked why we were sitting outside because the whole point of trick or treating was to ring the doorbell and say "trick or treat". We did it because that is what Bryant did with Grandpa last year and I thought that I would start a new tradition and carry it on. We had lots of people come by and Bry loved giving them stuff, but I think he enjoyed yelling across the street "Hey, people come get some of my candy!" more than he did anything else we had done the whole day. He kept asking me if we could see Batman and I told him that I wasn't sure that we would. Then there he was, walking across the street was a little boy (about Bry's age) dressed like Batman. I have NEVER seen a little boy so excited in my life...he really thought it was the REAL batman! He started yelling and waving "Hey Batman, come over here, I have some nandy for you". So, we both started yelling "Hey Batman, come to our house", so they did and Bryant was so very happy...he had the biggest smile on his face. He was in awe! He said "Hey you want to tome see me batman...you wanna halk to me" I had to let the parents in on the fact that my son thought that their little boy was actually batman(Bry didn't take into account that he was the same size or smaller than he was), I guess anyone in a Batman suite is in Bryant's head the REAL batman! Bryant gave him more candy and surprises than any other kid! He also had to give him a high five!
Out of all the funny/cute things that Bryant has done, this has to be my favorite!

October is FULL of birthday's in our family: G-ma and Uncle Cecil are on the 1st, Misty is on the 2nd, Bryant is on the 5th and Mom's is on the 15th! We had Bryant's 3rd Birthday party at the painting place in the mall...he was still not feeling 100% from having the flu, but we had the party and he had fun..I think! I still can't believe he is 3...he is talking so much now and has such a "big boy" attitude!
Here are some pictures of Parker...he LOVES to pose in front of the camera and everytime he sees it, he says "cheese"! It is so cute!
